Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the basis on which you may use ferryeu.com and the distinction between FerryEU travel information and the services supplied by ferry operators or booking providers.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. About FerryEU

FerryEU is a ferry travel information and comparison website. We publish route, destination and ferry-company guides and provide links or search tools that help users continue to current ferry-ticket and travel-booking options.

2. FerryEU is not the ferry operator

Unless a page expressly states otherwise, FerryEU does not operate ferries, ports, accommodation or passenger transport services. Sailing schedules, fares, availability, check-in requirements, vehicle rules, pet policies, accessibility arrangements and onboard facilities are controlled by the relevant ferry operator, port, booking provider or other travel supplier.

Existing bookings: if you already have a booking, use the contact details and instructions in your ticket or booking confirmation. Those details identify the provider responsible for changes, cancellations, refunds, check-in questions and travel-day assistance.

3. Booking services and third-party terms

When you follow a booking link or use a booking service reached through FerryEU, the reservation may be provided by a separate booking platform, ferry operator, accommodation provider or other supplier. Your booking contract, payment, cancellation rights, refund rules and transport conditions are governed by the terms shown by that provider when you book.

You are responsible for checking the final booking summary, passenger names, dates, route, ports, vehicle details, accommodation, price and supplier terms before payment.

4. Prices, schedules and availability

Prices and availability can change at any time and may vary by date, passenger type, vehicle, accommodation, currency, promotion and operator. Ferry schedules can also change because of seasonality, weather, port restrictions, maintenance or operational decisions. Information displayed on FerryEU is planning guidance and should be checked against the live booking result and final confirmation.

5. Accuracy of website information

We aim to keep FerryEU useful and accurate, but ferry networks are dynamic. We do not guarantee that every route, timetable, price, vessel, facility, policy or destination detail will always be complete or current. Where information is important to your journey, confirm it with the relevant operator, booking provider, port or official authority before travel.

6. Travel documents and personal responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that you and everyone in your party hold the correct passports, visas, identity documents, driving documents, pet paperwork and other documents required for the journey. Border, immigration, customs and vehicle rules can change and may depend on nationality, residence and itinerary.

7. External websites

FerryEU contains links to external websites and services. A link does not mean FerryEU controls that website or guarantees its availability, content, pricing, security or privacy practices. External services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Website use

You may use FerryEU for lawful personal and business travel-planning purposes. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, scrape the website in a manner that creates unreasonable load, or use FerryEU content in a misleading or unlawful way.

9. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the FerryEU name, website design, original text, graphics and other original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names, trademarks and images remain the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce substantial parts of FerryEU for commercial publication without permission.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, FerryEU is not responsible for losses caused by a ferry operator or other travel supplier, changes to schedules or prices, missed connections, weather disruption, border decisions, external websites, or a user's failure to check current travel requirements.

11. Privacy

Use of personal data through FerryEU is described in our Privacy Policy. External booking and travel providers process personal data under their own privacy notices.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to FerryEU, booking arrangements or applicable law. The version published on this page applies from the stated update date.

13. Questions

Questions about these website terms can be sent to info@ferryeu.com. Questions concerning an existing ferry reservation should instead be directed using the contact details in the relevant ticket or confirmation email.
