Funchal is the departure port on the island of Madeira. For a day visit, compare the outward arrival with the return departure and leave time to get back to the harbour. Porto Santo Line also publishes a day-cruise fare with transfers.

Boarding a car or trailer
The operator’s combined passenger-and-vehicle ticket requires passengers and their vehicle at boarding at least 30 minutes before departure. Allow at least an hour for a trailer or a vehicle with restricted manoeuvrability. Follow the instructions for your own ticket.

Can I return to Funchal the same day?
Check both directions on the operator’s dated timetable. On days with a suitable return, compare a standard return ticket with the one-day cruise package if you want island transfers.
